Manningtree can be found in a pleasant corner of Essex where history and the present happily blend. The area is well served by rail links directly to Norwich and London - by bus routes from Ipswich, Colchester, Clacton and Harwich - by road networks connected to the A12 from London to Ipswich - and by international ferry crossings by Stena Line or DFDS Ferries from the nearby port of Harwich. In addition Stansted Airport is approximately an hours drive away giving links around the globe.
